As Quality engineer at this facility, I interface with customers to understand their needs and requirement. Visit customers occasionally, attend APQP; prepare control plans, FMEA’s & flow charts, develop/implement corrective-actions, develop/modify processes to improve the process or to satisfy customer requirements. Conduct internal quality audits to QS/ISO standard. Liaison with customers, production personnel and customer service/sales personnel.

Quality Manager at prior two companies.
Certifications held:
ASQ - Certified quality engineer. BS – Management; several others.
What have you found most rewarding as a member of ASQ and why?
"Show me your friends and I’ll tell you who you are." Well, being associated with ASQ sort of justify that quotation. As a member of ASQ, I feel dignified. It makes me feel distinguished and recognized, particularly if you are ASQ certified. ASQ offers the opportunity to interact with peers and professionals with varied background and the opportunity to learn and improve personally, professionally and socially. Just get involved and experience it.
