What do you see in the future for the Quality profession?
It will become an integral part of Manufacturing/ Engineering. It must change its role from being a policeman to that of an enabler, to survive.
Where are the jobs in Quality?
In consumer goods, health care and pharmaceutical industries.
What qualifications do you see as necessary in the new job market?
Good education, business acumen, Expertise in computer use, flexibility, versatility and good communication skills.
What sort of interactions have you had with a quality guru or expert in the field?
I had an opportunity to meet and listen to Dr. Juran when I attended a class on team building at Juran Institute.
What have you found most rewarding as a member of ASQ and why?
The Job networking. I did get my previous job through its use.
