Current occupation:

Quality Manager for Press Repair firm in Chicago.  In addition to the quality program, I oversee all marketing, computer/network administration, minority purchasing, training, reliability measurement, strategic planning, environmental management, safety programs, and washing the dishes.

Associate Scientist, Quality Assurance Associate, Quality Systems Coordinator, Instructor, Quality Manager, Operations Manager, Management Representative for Quality, and Environmental Management Representative

CQA

What do you see in the future for the Quality profession?

The traditional quality practitioner will go away as Operations reabsorbs the product quality measurement and management functions.  The individual leading the quality assurance program today will find him/herself implementing the same tools and techniques in non-production areas of the company from Finance/Accounting to Human Relations.

What have you found most rewarding as a member of ASQ and why?

The interaction and networking with other quality professionals and learning from those who have already "been there and done that."
