What qualifications do you see as necessary in the new
job market?
The Quality profession has been continuously improving as the
needs of its customers – the organizations its members belong to – have been
changing. Quality professionals are more integrated into the operations of
companies and have to be more versatile in their capabilities, applying whatever
concepts and tools are needed to achieve the desired results. Gone are the days
of a very narrowly focus, quality professional with a limited toolset. The more
flexible capabilities a quality professional has, the more valuable he/she is to
an organization and more opportunities exist for career growth.
What have you found to be most rewarding as a member of
ASQ and why?
The
interaction and networking with other quality professionals and the ability to
give a little back to help others in their quality journey.
